Waypoint setting problem

I've set waypoints in the past using Andropilot, but it seems that perhaps I've forgotten exactly how to do it or I've inadvertently changed some setting.

I'm using Andropilot 1.6.06 on a Galaxy Note II smart phone.   The phone has a stylus which is handy for precision work.    When I press the stylus on the map, the box that says, (Provisional Waypoint - Altitude 50 Meters), pops up.    A check mark appears on the top left corner of the display.

When I click the check mark, the provisional waypoint box disappears and no waypoint is set.   I can't seem to set any waypoints anywhere.   Also, I can't edit waypoints.

I have some waypoints that were previously loaded into the APM.  When I connect over the radio, the waypoints appear on the Andropilot display.

On the waypoint screen, when I click on a waypoint, the box highlights..  When I click on the checkmark on the top left of the screen, the highlighting goes out and no editing window opens.  I'm left with the same waypoint screen.

I'm doing this while connected to the APM over a radio link.  Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong?

  • On the map, create provisional waypoint, edit alt. if required, 'add' @ top right. Then 'upload waypoints'
From the waypoints screen, select desired waypoint, edit at top of page, checkmark, repeat for next waypoint. Then 'upload waypoints' button.
    Also using SGN2.

I'm having the same issue at the moment. I'll report back if I figure something out. I have tried on a galaxy tab 3 and a 2013 nexus 7.
