Need help : No GPS data when powered with battery

Dear All..

My APM is working fine when it powered by USB cable from PC or laptop. but when I want to install it in our plane, there's always no GPS data. I've no idea why this is happening. since this problem appear, I haven't fly it yet.

    As chris says you need a BEC. Chances are the battery isn't giving you enough power so the GPS isn't turning on reliably.  A bit like a TV remote where the batteries are getting low, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't!

    You need to power the board via a ESC or BEC (power regulator putting out 5v-6v), not directly from a battery.
