Battery Mount

New Y6 owner here.

I've already started out w/ much more technical problems, and I'm sure I'll run into more brain teasers, but this little conundrum seems like it shouldn't be so.  The Tiger 6000mAh 4S LiPo just seems too big for the underside mount.  At the front, it's bumping right up against the gimbal, and in the back, I can't bring the landing gear down all the way w/out jamming up against the battery or pinching wires.  What am I missing?

  • If you have a gimbal, the battery has to be mounted sideways.  For that you will use one strap and the velcro.  The other two straps can be removed.   To get the CG centered on mine, the battery needs to be all the way back against the rear slot the strap comes down through.

  • You are missing simple fact that you can rotate Lipo 90 degrees :-)

    • Emin,  You are correct, I did miss that simple fact ;-)  Funny how those silly velcro straps can lead me astray from basic logic.

  • Im running a Nano-Tech 4s 6000 and its a tight fit on mine too.3701728962?profile=original3701728784?profile=original
