I can not get this thing to do the accelerometer. It fails at place level. And all it wants to do is flip over.

What do you mean with "fails at place level"?. Is the calibration of the accelerometer and level failing in Mission Planner or do you suspect that from take off tests?
If the problem happens during take off I would say the problem could be simple as the spin direction of the motors is wrong or the props are in the wrong position.
