APM 2.5 Mag Fault

Hello all,

When i log into mission planner it always shows the magnetometer as disabled, so i enable then wirte and save then exit mission planner, go back into mission planner and its disabled again? also when i go into cli mode it says compass cannot be initialised, i think its hardware fault? thoughts anyone, by the way this is a new board.

    put rosin and make of it a puddle use hot air gun around 5883L
    after the reflow - three tweezers to push the chip, a second three traps the chip and remove hot air, wait until cool

    its easy :))

    Sounds like a hardware problem. Please contact customer support from the store you bought it from to get a RMA.
