Hi,
I am trying to control an APM 2.5 with a Phantom II radio controller (PPM).
I have connected the receiver like mentioned in this article.
The following image represents the receiver Phantom 2.4 G RF V3:
I have checked with an oscilloscope that the S, 5V and GND are in the red pins, then connected them to (1) in the APM and put a jumper between (2) and (3). I didn't notice any signal or 5V within the blue pins, and couldn't not find in the internet what they are used for (so they are remaining disconnected).
Now, I am unable to calibrate my ESC as the APM2.5 is not receiving or understanding the signal properly. (Even in the mission planner)
I have found here and here that this operation could be done with a Phantom 1 RF controller with some modifications on the controller channels.
Now , my questions are:
- is it possible to use a Phantom II remote control with an APM 2.5? If yes, how?
- what the blue pins in the RF receiver are used for?
Thank you,
Safwen
