APM negative altitude

Like the title says i am getting negative altitudes trying to fly my APM 2.5 hexa. I admit it has taken a few hits in the past but the problem appeared suddenly after successfully flying it the day before.

I had similar problem in the past but after resetting everything to default it was fixed. Not this time.

Also sonar stopped working and giving a steady 0,2 m no matter how i move the copter.

But even with sonar disabled i get negative alt while flying. The higher i go the bigger the negative value is (or smaller :S) APM Planner shows that GPS alt goes on positive (its around 150m so thats from sea level or is that messed up too?) but the other one shows the negatives. So that would be the baro right? Anything i could try? Maybe it's just confused and not broken.

  • Replaced the APM with a new one and things seem better now. Sonar seems to be totally broken tho. Getting big vibrations looking at the logs but that's a problem for another day.

  • Try saving your values and redoing your firmware

    • I have already tried that and also going back to previous firmwares but nothing seems to work any better. I think im just going to replace my APM. Just dont know now if i should also replace the sonar or is APM causing that to fail too. Any idea what else i have to replace if i change to pixhawk? (sonar, gps, etc...)
