  • Ok, I'm still using APM 1's. albeit with the 2560 processors.

    And they work.

You are clearly not following the steps, as what are described, somewhat confusionately I would admit, but described.

First thing, connect using CLI, erase the APM, delete, whatever, but clean it.

Then load the code, for whatever platform you want, then calibrate your radio, then enable/configure whatever hardware you actually have on the platform.

Initially, don't dig into the code, the code is fine for a mostly standard platform. Fly.

Get to a point where you can actually make an educated guess as what code is broken/parameters wrong, then try to modify it.

    In your opinion anyway

Oh, and the check parameters are there, so you don't kill yourself.

    Or anybody else.

  • It wont arm, unless it's in Stabilize mode, ensure that you have this set on the Radio Configuration

Is this one of the original APM 1s with the 1280 chip? That one hasn't been supported for a few years. The code is way too big for its memory.
