Arducopter 3.1.3 Failsafe question

Hi,

I got a APM 2.5 and i'm asking me a question. What's happen if i cut off my radio. Indeed in this case, i set directly in my frsky Tx a failsafe which set the APM software in RTL mode!
But is it a good idea? What's happen if no gps fix?

    Do you mean no gps fix at take off or lost during flight?

    If takeoff 3.1.x I didn't think will let you arm without a GPS fix, the hdop must be below 2.0 to arm, so I would assume it would come home.

      No imagine, you took off with gps fixed. After you lose radio signal. The integrated frsk put the quad in RTL mode. And suddenly (during the quad's back home) a too high HDOP or GPS lose fix. What's happen?

      Well, actually it is either land or Alt Hold, which ever you have set. Of course, it could be set for disabled too, which is quite a bad idea.

      Francois,

           In that case the GPS failsafe should trigger and the vehicle should land.
