Driodplanner/ Tower

There seem to be certain differences between the two interfaces on Andriod.

I find that DP will lock onto my position with GPS enabled on my phone very quickly whereas in Tower it never does.

It also seems that DP doesn't have the 'Follow me' facility when in loiter, or maybe I'm missing something.

The use of offline map tiles in both is still eluding me. I wish someone could solve this mystery...... Why doesn't it work? The images are in the correct directory having unzipped them into '...\\emulated\0\droidplanner\maps......I don't seem to be alone in the dark either..... Quite a few posts reporting the same.

    After reinstalling the firmware on the 3DR radios, I cannot get Tower to work on any device.

    There are 3 versions of DroidPlanner.  Follow me started in DP2.  Follow Me mode is a flight mode on its own so what do you mean in Loiter?  Loiter is a flight mode and Follow me is another flight mode; 2 separate and different modes. Tower is DroidPlanner version 3 and must work together with 3DR Service App.  Did you install 3DR Service?
