Motor Run Up Test

All,

I'm doing some testing on a new quad and noticed something I don't quite understand.  The log graph below shows throttle input and corresponding ESC outputs.  Quad is on a level surface, no props.  With steady throttle input, motors 1 and 2 (RF and LR) gradually increase speed and motors 3 and 4 (LF and RR) gradually decrease speed.

What's going on here?

  • I would be interested o find out if you resolve this issue as I am experiencing the same problem.

    I have just tested it now and I am seeing the same issue with motors 1 & 2 drifting from motors 3 & 4.

    As far as I am away everything is calibrated and setup correctly.

  • You need to run through compass setup and calibration. The copter wants to yaw as the declination and the offsets are not correct.
