I'm interested in getting feedback on the ideal FPV configuration for my soon-to-arrive IRIS from 3DRobotics. I just received a complete DragonLink system but still need to select the video transmitter, receiver and antenna. There is good info here but I'm looking for others' input as well.

I would say depending on your intention of using goggles or a screen
if your using a screen a set of 1.2/1.3ghz vtx/vrx 400mw should be fine with a set of RHCP antennas
if fatshark goggles are your intention get Dominators so you have option to change the rx module and can use 5.8 or 1.3 modules they are available with a vtx and camera package also then get some 5.8 RHCP antennas for them
I usually buy most of my video stuff from http://www.surveilzone.com they have excellent service, just overseas
not everything is listed under fpv specifically (like wireless-transceivers)
and they don't offer fatshark but do offer another brand of goggles
