I am adding FPV to my APM 2.6 based F550 hex and I see that the Minim OSD v1.1 uses the same telemetry interface as the radio used for the connection to my ground control station (915 MHz 3DR radios). My question is, can I use both?
I see all of the telemetry info overlayed on video however I don't know how one would upload and download missions without the radios and some sort of mission planner software (I use Tower on a droid tablet with the radio connected via the micro USB port on the tablet).
Is there a way to use both or do I have to choose either OSD or ground control via 3DR radios?

Hi John. I assuming your reading this page

You can see that the MinimOSD connects directly via wires to the Telem2 port. I assume your radio is on the Telem1 port?
Thanks, Grant.
The MinimOSD simply hangs off a 'Y' lead on the Telemetry port.
Simple as that.
You don't actually need to 'Y' all the lines, just +/gnd/Tx
