Thanks for all the help!

This afternoon I flew my Hexacopter for a total of about 40 minutes and everything seemed to work okay!

I started off loading the new version of MP, then restarted the computer and loaded the firmware.  It took a couple of tries but I finally got it to load without resulting in an error.

Then I went through the other configuration screens for frame type, compass and accel calibration.

Then I reset my DX-7 transmitter's travel adjust for the throttle channel from +108% back to +100% and the trim back to 50% (middle).  After that I ran the Radio Calibration.

I then started working on getting the ESCs calibrated.  It took several tries but I got it to issue the correct beeps.  Now when I connect the flight battery, the ESCs issue the proper beeps but then stop beeping!  After that I can arm the ESCs and fly.

Thanks for all of the help!!

So far I have been using my 3S 2100mAh batteries that I have for my T-Rex 450 but they yield only about five minutes flight time.  What is a good battery size for a 3DR built Hexacopter with FPV/OSD, telemetry and one axis camera gimbal mount.  For additional payload I expect to mount my Hero camera or some other camera that would weigh less than about one pound.  I seem to remember that someone put together a table or graph that showed flight time verses payload.

Thanks again!

5000mAh is a good size. I use it on my hex with a GoPro and a small gimbal and I get about 12 minutes of flight.
