Upgrade to Arducopter 3.3.3?

I am using Mission Planner with Arducopter 3.2.1 on a Iris+. I keep looking at upgrading to the latest version. I like some of the new features like BRAKE, but don't want to mess up anything that I have now.

Is 3.3.3 stable?

Is there a list of changes that the upgrade will make and what changes do I have to make to my settings or controller.

Thanks

  • Yes, It's stable and really nice, here you have the info about that release http://diydrones.com/forum/topics/copter-3-3-beta-testing?xg_source...

    • Thanks, I just activated ch8 on my FSTH9X transmitter and set Ch 7 to Brake and Ch8 to Motor Emergency Shutoff. If I upgrade my firmware will I loose these settings?

Also do you know how I can save all of my setting in the transmitter to a backup channel?

      Thanks

    • Sorry, I don't have that transmitter, perhaps you can see in it's manual.

You can save your params after update if you want, connect your Iris by usb or telemetry, go to full params list in M Planner, choose SAVE and choose a place in your pc to save in case you want to return to old vers.
