Using a hexa PDB in a Quad drone?

I've been flying a hexa from DIY Drones and was interested in setting it up in a quad configuration.  Can I use the 6-up power distribution board from the Hexa in a quad? I presume wiring it up using ports 1-4 and leaving 5 & 6 without motors attached.  Anybody tried this?  Any reason why this wouldn't work?

    Sure you can especially if you have one of these boards. Correct just leave motors 5 and 6 out.
