  • Your clicking noise is possibly BLDC motors loosing sync.  You could correct this by trying a different ESC or programming the existing ESC and selecting a different PWM frequency often found in the ESC programming options list.

At slow speeds comutator timing done in software is largely guess work using the inactive phase to indicate rotation speed and motor position. At slow speeds the voltage generated by the inactive phase is quite low.  This is the simple short explanation.  Excessively long wires between the BLDC and ESC with too small a wire could also contribute to loosing sync.

  • Don't know if is the same sort of click but have a look at this old post - there is an MP3 on it - if your click sounds the same then your fine.

i'm pretty sure I did not drop anything metallic in them. It sounds like something is arcing, as says Stone1295.

I'll take a look in the motor cages to be sure there is nothing stuck on the magnets.

    Thx for your help.

  • you might want to check and see if something metalic has not been drawn into one of them from the magnetic field

I have found screws and washers in some customers motors in the past
