Can anybody explain that phenomenon ? After a few years of flying and several craft I have noticed that more often than not my 'R' props break. Can I change directions so I can burn through some of these spare normal props? =]

Why does this happen? Is it just me?

  • Guys , its for exactly the same reason a buttered piece of bread always falls with the butter side down!!

    I really think its coincidental.

I crashed my hexa this weekend, broke 1 cw and 2 ccw props.

  • When i flew my copter into a tree the branches snapped both ccw blades and forced the locks off of the CW blades.  I just figured that because the rotation left no room for give the plastic props snapped.

Yeah I break those 2 or 3 to 1. I bought some cheap standard GWS props to use in place. I also bought a bunch of cheap props from RCTimer.

  • Yes, I've also noticed the asymmetrical nature of prop breakage.  But, I fly mostly in + mode, and most of my crashes are either in the front or back.  One would suspect that X mode should have symmetrical breakage.
