Xbee issue ??? update 1.1.18 too 1.1.55 ???

I'm not sure that the update is the problem but happen at the same time ;-(

I'm using EU 2,4ghz xbee kit. it was working perfect until yesterday. Today i did the update from planner 1.1.18 too 1.1.55 I'm not certain that this is able to create such problem ..

Anyway Xbee is not blinking anymore and is quit hot ... with usb + battery connection and also with only usb connection or only with battery without any other connections. 

I try to unplug GPS sonar etc ... still hot. I renew the firmware and PB still the same ...

Have somebody some ideas in regard ?

    I don't know what the PDB does, as I don't use one.  But I would suspect that it's just a single power bus, with no special power regulation.  So even with that you will have to address the power usage issue.  Basically your ESC has a BEC that outputs a certain amount of current, you need to make sure that everything you connect to the power will not exceed that.

    Mine updated both times it happened, but I ruled this out as coincidence, i mean how??.  Maybe something odd happening during update, might also just be so many updates it always happens when on the bench???  Twighlight zone.  DIY xstream adaptor on drone side?

    @Ellison--  Are you a part of 3dr or dev teams??  You always seem to be in the know, and I have seen you very involved since the beginning.

    I forgot the specify i'm using APM1 with 3D kit...

    No software update should ever cause those symptoms.  You probably have a problem with your power system.  I would unplug all the power and check it or else you could risk burning out some chips.
