I have successfully used AndroPilot on a Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1 using an Event 38 telemetry radio to Bluetooth bridge with my rover.
It is very good for making parameter changes and capturing telemetry data.
It might be a little tougher to use to create or modify waypoints due to the smaller screen.

I have an OTG cable for my Nexus 7 tablet. 1. Do you think that I can use the telemetry set with the table ? 2. What information is relayed when using the telemetry set ?

Thanks for your replies, No to finish my chassis and start adding the brains to it.

DroidPlanner 2 is the equivalent APM mission planning app for Android.
Hi and thanks for your quick reply.
Is DroidPlanner suitable for ground rovers ?

It's optimized for copters, but can support basic Rover and Plane functionality. AndroPilot is also a good GCS on Android and is less copter-centric.
Do you know of any other "portable" mission planners? Or potentially-portable, like Raspberry-Pi/Beagleboard ports? Even IOS versions?
Thanks!
@Adam,
Besides AndroPilot there is DroidPlanner.
