Hi,
I'm having problems with activating motor in auto mode. All works well in manual and learning mode.
When I activate auto mode with "flaps" 3 pos switch, steering servo starts to move, MP shows that I'm in auto mode but still no motor.
Tried to change cruise/turn speed between values from +100 to -100 but nothing. What am I missing here?
I have set up mapping and hardware according to Thomas suggestions.
Hardware:
pixhawk
dx7 se and sat
Software:
MP 1.3.9
ArduRover 2.45

@Raimo,
Do you have a mission loaded?
How far away in meters is the first waypoint from the home point?
How large is your waypoint radius?

Yes, mission loaded.
4,5m
default 2m

@Raimo,
How many waypoints are in your mission?
With a waypoint radius of 2m and the first waypoint only 4.5m away, the navigation system may think that it is already at the first waypoint.
I have seen this happen before where the rover would not move because the first waypoint was too close to the home waypoint.

Hi,
There are all together 16 wp, wp-s are not overlapping. Tried also a simple mission with home and wp1 with bigger distance (~10m), result was the same.
Is there possibility to see if Pix is sending signal to output 2, from log?

Raimo
If I connect a servo to output 2 then it should change position when I change speed in tuning screen, if so then I can rule out Pix and see if something is wrong with FS and throttle calibration?
Some thoughts (if you find a practical use ;) ) connect a servo to motor output (signal parallel to motor) to make an "analog" speedometer/tachometer for your rover.

It works :D
I don't know if it was the new firmware (2.46) or just abnormal software initialisation, but now it works, lets start tuning :)
Accuracy is within 1m on grass.

I seem to have the same problem using 2.46. It moves fine in manual but just sits there in auto. What did you do to fix the problem ? You think it is worth reloading the firmware ?

Hi,
I actually don't know what was the reason I got it working. I did update (to the current version) firmware and after that it worked. You can try to reload the firmware, it should not hurt.
What you can check additionally is how you have calibrated your ESC throttle. You could post a screen of your Basic Tuning parameters.
