Solar ArduRover
I'd like to introduce the Solar ArduRover, solar powered small drone.
The chassis is from offroad model LRP S10 Twister Buggy - 1/10 Electric 2WD.
The motor is LRP Vector K4 Brushless Motor - 17.5T.
Weight of the Rover without solar panel is 1290 g.
Weight with the solar panel 1700 g.
The solar panel has 24 cells. (2 X 12)
Cell Specifications:0,61 Volt / 930 mA / 438 mW / 52 x 52 mm.
The Rover is powered by 2 S Lipo battery.
When in charge, each group of 12 cells produces aprox. 5.710 V and 0.850 Amp, powering separately each battery element.
So I performed several tests.
First step: I programmed the ArduRover for a list of recorded GPS waypoints.
Second step : add the solar panel performed several tests
The last one lasted 60 minutes. Between 11:45 and 12:45 LT. Not the maximum value for peak sun hours.
At start the battery voltage reading shows 7,65 V ( 3,79 + 3,79).
60 minutes later I got 7,45 V ( 3,69 + 3,70)
This is the video:
Endurance: ?
So, what should be the next step?
Thank you for your attention.

Awesome!! if it were me I would next try to increase the charging capability from the solar cells or maybe make other parts more power efficient. I can help when I can.
Humbly,
