      what am I missing?Now, I'm overwhelmed!  What is the difference between Mission Planner and APM? I can connect  (USB Cable) to my Iris using Mission Planner, but APM doesn't seem to want to read the Iris.

      SkyRover is right in asking for clarification: APM is the hardware .

      There are two PC platform software products: APM Planner 2.0 and MissionPlanner.

      It is confusing if you call APM Planner just APM.

      Not sure what you mean by APM. there is Mission Planner (for computer) and Droid Planner (for phones, tablets and such).

      there are two program that cqan be downloaded and depending on which link in the documentation you click, either of these 2 show up.

      I see. Someone else may have to chime in here on that. I've only ever used Mission Planner, and as far as i know its all you need
