    yup, you will need mission planner, droidplanner may work, but i'm not familiar with it. (droidplanner's the tablet/phone version of mission planner) You would connect your iris to mission planner, then change the parameter. I would use the USB plug directly into the iris as opposed to using the 900mhz telemetry module. 

    Have you used mission planner before?

    I _think_ this is a parameter.  Through a GCS you can connect the Iris and view/modify the current params.

    At first it can seem huge amount to take in. But if you just go through step by step as you run into problems it wont be hard. This is such a capable platform that there is going to have so many features that you wont need and options that you wont use, so just stick to the learning the basics of the pixhawk first.

    I'm sure you mean this, but just to double check, you mean 3.7V per cell yea? because 3.7V on a 3s lipo would be a bad day for your iris
