TAROT gimbal nor working on IRIS+

Hi everyone,

I am a newbie with the IRIS+ and tarot gimbal. The gimbal was working fine the first day but now its not working at all. It is properly connected and it has power, the LED´s on the TAROT board are blinking in blue and there is another yellow LED that blinks 3 times.

I am hoping is something that I messed up  with the IRIS+ configuration.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I'm new at this too, sorry I can't help more

    • Thanks!

    • If you installed the firmware then you saw the options to engage the motors and see the numbers change as well the picture that moves as the gimbal moves.

If the motors engage but don't move then the sensor that determines position my be bad.

It looks like your going to need to repair or replace your gimbal.

Don't know if you can just get the controller board.  The firmware loaded so the board should be good.

Check this video as there have been some issues with bad wires and connections.

    • Here is the link to the Gimbal software and manuals. If you download the 1.5 firmware and unpack it the manual is in there. You may want to just do this and save it somewhere for future reference.

    • Hi Michael,

I have downloaded the fw for motors and for the gimbal and now I am running 1.5v on both. The gimbal does not move with just plugging the power cable. It was working fine the first day.

      I have tried everything...

      Any ideas?

      Regards,

  • The gimbal should work with just the power cable attached. Check the IRIS suport pages for docs on gimbal with info on what the light means.

    • Thanks Michael I have checked the pages but haven't found anything relevant.
