If you get the chance, upgrade the board. http://www.ersky9x.net/
I'm using an ersky9x board from this canadian manufacturer and have been quite happy with its design that will scale with time.

Ahhh... This link was useful as it described a little about the FS range.
I have the Fatshark Predator V2 set... works a treat (although it was delivered minus a camera... bevrc were on to that quick and had one to me within a week from China... not a bad effort on their part). I would call it a good setup for a first time FPVer (such as me) as it's very much plug and play... But... I would advise (and I did this), grab a pair of circularly polarised antennae and a 600mW transmitter.
I've got the Dominators and I've heard they're pretty good. Haven't actually tested them on my quad yet though, but testing with the cam plugged straight in and just playing around with the Vtx they were pretty good.
Shesh, so stating the obvious question...
Which FS goggles are the best?!?!
I use FS Base goggles. Went for a ride with Juz the other day wearing these.
Bloody WOW.
Did let a bit of light around the edge of goggs, but otherwise very comfy. Was teamed up with a TBS69 camera. The picture was brilliant.

I haven't tried many systems (only 2 actually), but from those people that are 'in the know', FatShark is meant to be up there with the best, if not the best. The quality of the gear though did seem quite good.
Would be interested in seeing it when it does arrive.
I ordered one of these http://www.bevrc.com/new-fatshark-predator-v2_p331.html
It's my first FPV setup so it seemed like a good place to start. Have you had any experience with fatshark?
Ahhh, no problem.
Tell me more about the FatShark gear? What did you order and where from?
Unfortunately I've got some tight deadlines at work so I'm probably going to be at the office tomorrow.
I just ordered some Fatshark gear so when that arrives I'll be very keen to head out to Williamstown.
