So, back before I installed a gimbal on my quad, I strapped a mobius camera to the front and all worked well with ROI missions using Mission planner. Setting ROI points caused the craft to yaw towards the ROI point as expected.
Now, as I have a gimbal, better camera, rc control of gimbal pitch and pan... Missions using ROI point tries to point camera using gimbal controls, leaving original heading. Problem is, my landing gear setup .. is in the way.. I'd like the original behavior. .
Is there a way I can tell pixhawk to yaw toward ROI and Not use gimbal control?
