Motors and props for X5

Hello,

After some reading that overpowered X5 are difficult to manage, I decided to put there 200W, 1300kV motor and 7x4,5 folding prop.

But it doesn't want to rise at launch... I've tried wing (frisbie like) launch and also took the risk to overhead throw (no problems for hand with this prop).

1. Is this setup enough ? What motors and props do you use ?

2. Is it really possible to launch it without bungee or wind ?

    I have only had a couple flights so far but I'm using a 980kv motor with a 9x6 prop and it launches easy even in no wind. I'm throwing overhand.
    Maybe an 8x5 would give enough thrust for you to launch?

      I use a small motor, 215watt 1400kv on 3S and it works fine with an APM 8 x 4 prop. 

      I do use a catapult for launching though, for safety. The X5 has a well earned reputation for biting fingers, if you hand launch always wear a strong glove! count your fingers at the end of the day!!
