I'm preparing a Certificate of Authorization (COA) application for our research use of a 3DR Solo under the Public Aircraft authority. Diving into the FAA's system, the application process is cryptic to say the least. I've reviewed several of the publicly released COAs (available at https://www.faa.gov/uas/public_operations/foia_responses/) but haven't yet run across one for the 3DR Solo to use as a template. 

However, the Solo does appear within the FAA's system, so some public organization has applied using the Solo. Has anyone on this forum either made a COA application using the Solo or have access to one?

I'd greatly appreciate any help in speeding up the application process.
