Does the Solo App support functions of abitrary flight path? Re: multiple way points, (more than 2) used in the Cable option? Better said, does the Solo App include capabilities of the Mission Planner and other apps used to pre-program flight path before take off?

3DR Solo App has hit the Apple store, however, without the copter itself, all you can do is watch 3 short videos, unboxing, software update and first flight. No documentation about defining flight path, or detailed use of the copter. Looks to me as if you get smart shots, but not other capabilities of other mentioned Android apps.

Will the iOS version of the Solo App be able to support custom flight path options as in the Android packages?

I was told by a 3DR software engineer that Miission Planner can be used with Solo.
Also Tower, which is also a full-featured GCS for advanced mission planning for Android, and APM Planner, which does the same for OSX, both work great with Solo out of the box.
That's nice to hear. Just placed my Solo w/gimbal order through DSLRPros. I'm looking forward to a great machine with great support and some good software. I'll put my Phantom 2 in backup spare status. WOOHOO!!
