So I got my solo on Monday and waited till Wednesday to download the app. I updated the software and went through all of the training and was ready to fly when I got a compass error on the controller. I calibrated the compass with success, and then I started getting a calibration error. I restarted, re calibrated, and still got the error. I removed the battery, restored it to the original configuration and updated the software again, and I get the same range of errors. Then the app says that solo requires service.I did all of this in an open field away from any metal objects or buildings, and even just tried to hold solo in the air and still kept getting the various compass related errors.I submitted a ticket and contacted support, and was on the phone with support for over an hour and they could not seem to help me or direct me to an engineer who could help fix the problem. That was on Wednesday, and I have yet to receive a call back or email with help. It seems pretty clear that there is a problem with the onboard controller.Given that they answered the phone, I would say the support was initially impressive, but the fact that I can't get a resolution to this is pretty frustrating.Has anyone else had this problem?3dr, feel free to call me!

Did you resolve your issue? Hope so. If not maybe you could submit another support ticket. I should be getting mine soon. Had a Phantom for a while but this is going to be all new....different flight controller and all. Good luck.
