  Hi

  We are trying to use the Seedstudio GPRS Shield v1.0 (SIM900), but we are unsure which pins to connect.

  The Telemetry port on our APM2.5 has 5 wires, but from the spec of the GPRS shield we only need four TX(D8), RX(D7), 5V, GND.

  How do we know which wire does what?

  Here's my Telemetry solution , a variation of all before . Works seamlessly , very light and robust . Thanks to Toby Mills for assistance. 

  Also streaming HD video from Go Pro 3 over 4g (slow) and integrated to Mission Planner HUD 

  Equipment

  APM 2.5 Flight Controller

  USR RS232 to Wifi Adapter (Client)  10 grams

  Tiny Dovado 4G Modem / Router  (Server) 120grams

  Telstra ( Sierra 320U 4G modem) 15 grams

  APM  Mission Planner (TCP Connection to Dovado IP with Dynamic DNS)

  Only difficulty was getting Telstra to modify my account to allow  access to telstra.extranet  APN which gives me a non fire walled IP address . ( Toby Mills alerted me to this)
