Freddia announces the new Beta release 3.2 beta.

  • (PR #1489) Custom altitude preferences:
    • Preference is accessible through Settings -> Advanced -> Altitude Preferences
  • (PR #1502) Offline map support:
    • Offline map preferences can be accessed through Settings -> User Interface -> Map Provider Preferences.
    • Offline map support requires a valid mapbox ID
  • (PR #1511) Kill switch support
    • Can be enabled through Settings -> Advanced -> Enable Kill Switch.
  • (PR #1526) Spline survey support
  • (PR #1527) Solo vehicle support:
    • Support video streaming from a Solo vehicle
  • (PR #1539) Add a Snackbar to the parameters screen to prompt the user for upload of modified parameters.
  • (PR #1538) Added a mission assistant window
    • Accessed by swiping up the control bar in the Flight screen during a mission.

  • (PR #1530) Fix usability issues with the parameters screen search bar
  • (PR #1533) Flight control bar material update.
  • (PR #1534 && PR #1536) Set the default imperial speed unit to mph instead of feet per second.

    3DR releases to 1.4 vers , good news for flyers from boats ;)

    Version 1.4.0 changelog:

    * Improved wifi info logging
    * Added support for vehicle vibration messages
    * Added support for 'return to me' functionality
    * Bug fixes.

      Many bug where fixed in the new beta release 3.2.0 beta 4; one important issue, change modes by itself, (that I mention upside) was solved in 3dr services 1.3.4 as Fredia inform here  https://github.com/DroidPlanner/Tower/issues/1572#issuecomment-1399...

    My experience, I return to stable Tower vers to fly my airplane but not change the updated 3DR services, I was flying in stab and change to auto from the Tower, at aprox the 5 Wp the controller returned to stab wihout my intervention and didn't finish the mission, not alert about the change too, only the FPV osd alerts me. I'm going to return 3dr services too to stab release to see what happens.

    If you want to have offline maps you have to register in mapbox page https://www.mapbox.com/ but I try as always do, watching the area interest, then I close the wifi and the map is still there ;) . Be carefull its beta, some people reporting crashes http://diydrones.com/forum/topics/copter-3-3-beta-testing?id=705844... please comment experiences good or bad who try it.

      I try again and some maps areas dissapears :( I'm going to study mapbox but don't looks so friendly than prev vers. :(
