  I guess the main aim is just to see if we can get all this technology to work together for data collection in our work which is costal sea defence, to create DEM's GeoTiffs to monitor salt marsh erosion,etc.. And of course it's bloody good fun.:)

  Hi Jim, I have watched the video and can now see the APM at 90 degrees :-). Its all so new to me that I think I will keep it facing forward so that I don't stretch my skills to much. What is your aim for the mapping camera? The photo looks great by the way.

  I have mounted the APM at 90 as it fits nicely and is easy to get to the usb plug if needed, also that is how it is mounted in Flight Riots excellent video. I have used a Canon s100 with CHDK It's a very good small camera and has GPS for easy Geo Ref.Here is an example of the images from the s100 captured from my MK quad. I'm hoping to capture a much bigger area with the penguin.
