About Me:

Chris has over 7 years experience as both an MQ-1 Predator and advanced programs unmanned aerial vehicle pilot in the U.S. Air Force. His most recent experience has been as the chief of test operations for advanced program Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). Chris has been involved in every aspect of operations as an instructor and evaluator pilot in both formal training units and combat squadrons. As a natural leader, Chris has been selected in previous capacities as the chief of training, scheduling, standards/evaluations, test operations, and has served as a weapons/tactics officer in other platforms. Enlisting as an aircraft electrical environmental specialist in the early 90’s gave Chris the military and aircraft experience that he was able to translate into his B.S. in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He obtained his commission in 2002 and attended pilot training where he graduated with a flying assignment to McChord AFB flying C-17’s in 2003. With countless combat hours over both Iraq and Afghanistan, Chris decided that his skills could be used in a more diverse capacity. It was during this time he found himself transporting a previous CSAF who was stranded needing transportation from Riyadh back to Andrews AFB. Over the course of several hours the insight the CSAF passed on to the crew regarding the vision and future of unmanned systems enlightened Chris to volunteer for a career in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).
