David Mobach commented on David Mobach's blog post Arducopter build: longer flight time
"The crate is from this shop: de-generaal.com. Although it's great for keeping it safe during rough transport, it does not come with foam, and its pretty big and heavy. For normal everyday use I use the case below: It's much lighter and as you can…"

"Not much news due to bad weather here in NL. I did find the weak spot in the frame though:

Farnell has some nice small ABS casings that can fit both 3DR style radios as well as XBee's on their breakout boards. You can cut parts out easily with a hobby knife. I use them for both the airborne and ground radio's. Link & pics:RX2007 ABS…

"I'm flying with the (default) settings I also used to fly my 3DR frame. I do notice some wobble when doing a fast descend, but I guess this is more due to prop wash than a configuration issue. I will be adding some FPV equipment shortly. "

"I also like the idea of adding some additional dogfight elements. My original plan was to add some non-intrusive game-like features, such as awarding points for tailing the opponent at a certain distance, or formation flying challenges. And then…"

DogfightOSD is a custom firmware for the popular Remzibi and MinimOSD boards that allows your plane to broadcast its own position data (lat/lon/alt) and receive and display information received from a second aircraft onto the display. To this end, a…

I'm using a hardware configuration which doesn't allow me to send commands to my mt3229 GPS, so I'm wondering whether it is possible to configure the mt3229 to binary, and then store this configuration so it will output binary in stead of NMEA when…
