Zigogne FPV Racer

Hi guys !

After searching, explored, tested, deleted several times, the creative process was finally completed in six months.

I'm glad to present you our 300 size quad racer, the Zigogne.

The main characteristics : 

  • Interlocking arms folded in both directions for easy storage and amortization of any crash.
  • Supplied with FPV tilt camera mount for better visual comfort in flight.
  • Compatible with 6 inches props.
  • Red clip-feet
  • Protection of the electronics inside the chassis to avoid damage during a crash or exposure to a humid environment.
  • Quick check Pivot of center of gravity
  • Front and rear clip for optional mounting of a bumper or LED

FPV Racing taking the lead in France

As you may already heard, FPV Racing is getting famous here in France. We've organized a race on our official field covered by a french TV channel.


In total there were 6 pilots on the starting grid. A simple, effective story that shows a positive image of FPV.

Online FPV Simulator based on Google Earth

FPV SIM

I just discovered a new FPV Simulator and it's free.

It's created and proposed by the blog FPV PASSION.

In my opinion, it is a cool simulator for everybody who wants to discover FPV !

Also very nice for flight preparation and line of sight checks!!

The development is based on the Google Earth Plugin so you can fly over 3D Cities.

DJI Phantom FPV Conversion

Hi ppl !

 

You may want to know if the DJI Phantom is suitable for FPV.

A french guy wrote a tutorial here :

 

This is a short summary of the modifications :

- Replaced stock radio transmitter with a 8 Ch receiver Graupner GR-16

- Drilled a hole and placed the video tx inside the phantom's body

- The FPV Camera is the famous PZ0420 SONY 600TVL

- Added CL-OSD which is a flashed E-OSD from Hobbyking

- Separate power for the video
