"Hi Henri, That is the IFC-192-S we shipped you, it has 18 gores!  That is an awesome photo.  I don't see a lot of photos on this chute.  So the chute is 16' across (almost 4 meters).  The chute is rated up to a 92Kg load.
Can you tell me about the…"

"Hi Henri, that first video was wild!

On the second one because of the very cold air your effective Cd may be very high, approaching 3.  I've seen this in my own testing on cold days.  Also the smaller "pilot" chute can also slow it some.  So you…"

"Cool Henri, Eventually a photo set of some typical installations will be good.  You will find that people will ask for this all the time."

"Hi guys, awesome video!  The Fruity Chute looks great.  Can you get a closeup how it's mounted?  That would be good for customers to note.  In fact a video on the mounting setup would be nice to have and answer a lot of questions folks have."

"Great idea Mike and I'll do that, and other please do as well.  Funny, we came from the rocketry side of things, and  I can go to Black Rock desert with my club Aeropac.org and fly rockets up to 100K'!  Anyway most all our testing is done using…"

"Hi Henri,  Is that two 4M Opale chutes I take it (they are 10 gores each, ours at this size are 12).  You are going to be more cost effective is you size a single chute for recovery.  But if you do use two chutes you do have redundancy.

If you want…"

"Hi Guys, the closest Fruity Chute equivalent for the 2.5m^2 area chute is the IFC-48-S (Ultra Compact with 400# Spectra option).  See: Iris Ultra 48" Parachute - 12.5lbs @ 20fps

"Hi Henri, nice tests!  This design of chute opens very fast.  It looks like one of the Fruity Chutes tests caught a thermal of something.  It just seemed to stop dropping.

One idea, I would recommend a length of shock cord between the parachute and…"

"Cool Henri! When looking at how you have to pack the chute keep in mind that many people using these chutes will not have the skill needed to achieve a very tight pack.  So as you probably already know for this size chute, having a tube slightly…"

"Great photos. So the chute is 10 gores.  Can you measure very accurately the distance between two shroud lines?  I can then calculate the number I'm looking for.

Can you tell if the canopy sections (aka gores) are curved at all, or are they…"

"I think I converted the length wrong;) It's 4.72" which sounds better. Z-folding is the right way to do it, and you adjust the number of folds to get the proper length.  That is exactly correct.

"Hi Henry, So for my calculations that is 2.6"D x 7.9"L.  The volume is 42 cu".  Our IFC-60-S chute will fit nicely into this and it is rated at 4Kg load at 4.1m/s (69J).  It seems equivalent to the 2.5M chute, or maybe just a touch larger.
I…"
