About Me:
I was an RC hobbiest (Planes & later electric heli's. for years. Was out of the hobby for a few years. Now I have more free time. Currently have 2 mini electric heli's (Blade), one a quad. Fly them every day. Have for a long been daydreaming about a "come home" function based on GPS. Way back in the 70's I built an Altair PC Kit.
Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest
I am a programmer and was a computer hobbiest in the early days. I put together an ALtair pc. For years have been dreaming about a circuit which would use GPS to give my glider a "come home" function if it got too far out & I lost the orientation & couldn't control it. Have lost planes that way. A guy in an RC hobby store told me about DIY. Am impressed w/ your web page & am anxious to find out more.
