PX4IO not found - 3.3v regulator?

I am getting a PX4IO board not found error on boot of my newish Pixhack. Looking through various forums, it seems an issue may be the 3.3v regulator has broken (understandable, I did some silly stuff with power supply early on).

Where is this located

RC issues with Pixhack (Pixhawk)

I have setup (mostly) a Pixhack, but I cannot get any form of RC detection. Have spent quite a few days trying to fix this, and I both hope and am worried I have missed something simple.

The Pixhack is calibrated for everything else (compass/gyro etc)
