I build underwater positioning systems and other underwater technology. My interest in UAVs comes from a long childhood dream of having one and an interest in marine mammal tagging projects. I'd like to have a UAV of my own fly over the ocean and pick up signals from electronics mounted on sea otters, whales, and other marine mammals.
