i think i'm going to fly this one as a motor glider, we've got an autopilot and servos for another one on the way so i think i'll build another for a downward facing camera. i've just started a full time job though so i won't have all day every day…
"the foam is not structural in this case. the three carbon rods lend all the necessary strength in the tail.
what i did is i took the crimps out of the plastic connector housing to fish it through the tail and rplaced them afterward."
Sorry this one took so long to get to you guys, i spent a lot of time packing techpods instead of building them.in this one i build and align the tail. the next and final video will be the pod, that should be up soon.

and also a HackHDhttp://www.hackhd.com/
I'll…"
"yeah i have a setup like that in my DLG. i'm going to color code them with heatshrink for this build. i'm also going to do some fancy aile-flap-eron mixing glider style as i plan on flying this one as a motor glider."
"thanks. it's served me well.unfortunately the fuselage build video is going to be delayed, i accidentally cut my only motor mount hardware too short, so i'm going to run down to home depot and pick up some more. i got the tail all built though and…"
The first video is up! I go in-depth and walk you through the entire build of a techpod wing, from soldering servo extensions to laying in the spar. enjoy!
