I have noticed a fluctuation in VSI even while the quad is level, calibrated, stable, un-powered.  I went as far as removing the ArduPilot from the quad and connecting it to my laptop and with no external interference/vibrations, I see a fluctuation…

In my learning to land quads, and I am finding my landings less than soft. Are there a decent set of legs other than the carbon fiber for a 3dr quad that can handle the abuses of a hard landing? Chris
