Pixhawk exceeding the 45degree limit

I have a new pixhawk quad on a alien 560 frame and it flys great but theres some strange characteristics its displaying in flight that i cannot cure - basically in stablilse or altitude hold if i push full forward, it will pitch to its 45degree limit
