@Ken, we're smiling in our hearts, but have our game face on - LOL. People outside the sport don't know that soaring is a lot of work, in addition to a lot of joy!
@Sklyer - I have only once seen a Solo, and have never stuck my head in the cockpit. That canopy frame would never have led me to suspect a Blanik... Doesn't bear much resemblance to a L-13 cockpit ;) I am flying a Discus CS (my ship) and I don't remember where I shot that pic. I think it was east of the Sangre De Christo mountains in Colorado. I usually fly out of Boulder, CO with the Soaring Society of Boulder.
