(2) Traxxas Camera Ship (well, Camera Dinghy...)

Pic 2 of 3: Here's the exotically expensive (possibly as much as seven cents) high-tech stuff I used to make the landing gear and camera mount for the Traxxas micro quad. That's the camera at upper right. Four small zip-ties make adequate landing gear, there are convenient slots at the motors to thread them through. The rubber band holds the camera to the belly (upside down, as only the bottom of the camera is flat and this also leaves its single control button accessible). A bit of double-sided tape is used between the camera and the quad's belly, not to support the camera but rather to keep it from sliding around. So no mods at all to the quad. R&D, procurement and installation of this sophisticated system consumed an enormous amount of time, maybe as much as 20 minutes.
