How to connect a Blox

If U absolutely must have very accurate 4Hz velocity information, this is how uBlox 5 is attached to a module. There is no antenna power despite the ANT_PWR label. No RF shielding is required.

It's a 10 megapixel photo. Just click on View Full Size & then you can see the GPS module on the tail.

I'm not sure I can spot the antenna in that second photo. Is it the other tan block, further down the tail?

The PC board underneath the antenna is used as antenna ground.

Is the circuit board substrate acting as the antenna, or is there an external antenna not shown in your photo ?
