    And that around $400 is rather good if we thing that original requirement for DIY Drones Quad was $1000 max. So we are around half of it. Time will tell official values :)

    Chris, it's too early to announce exact features and pricing but we're shooting for sub $400, with full GPS autopilot and everything included.

    Safety is our concern even in form of fat spacers hahah.

    @Jani: I was thinking of asking exactly that before ... there are a lot of space around the bolts on that sketch. :)
    @Ken: Thank you, guy!
  • Sandro,

    I upload the 3d rendering to our thread on RC Groups and gave you credit.

    Sandro, you can also make those spacers a bit smaller, i think on my sketch they were a bit wrong size :)
    Should be 6mm outside diameter and I think i had 10mm spacers.

    Great... and yep it will be hackar style 20-22L that we plan to use it.

    Hi, Jani! I will fix that "over-bolting" here.
    I'm getting specifications and references for drawing the motor model that you told me and the propellers too. :)

    Now that looks great, you are a lot better on 3D drawing than I do :)

    Btw. no mid screw on corner areas, motors arms have only 1 tough hole screw and that is at center area. On edge of base plates, arm is hold still by two screw around arm and that middle one is for mounting carrier plate.
