Crashed Test Hexa @jDrones

Sometimes things are not going as expected. We found a serious bug on software that caused one of our test hexas to fall down from the sky.

It fell from 30 meters straight down to hard surface. Damage, 3 bent arms, 2 batteries, GoPro lens cover, one motor mount and few screws. It flew 15 mins later again.

Flying weight was 2.445grams

"It's our responsibility to crash those so our users can fly them more safer" :)

    is it a hardware or software bug you have experienced ?

    I'd get far away off that lipo...

    Well hexa flies but those LiPos are not. One got badly broken and one just mildly but due safety reasons, I grounded them both just in case.

     

    Ah yeah the bug that caused it is now fixed among with few extra improvements :P
