This is right before the completion of installation. I am still wrapping wires but will be a either a very clean setup or an ordered chaos. As you can see in the picture the camera is mounted in the heart of the fuselage. There is also a piece of foam that sits on top so that the camera is completely surrounded. The camera location is just aft of the main gear and under the wings. This is about the safest place for this most precious of cargoes.

  • I might add that the foam for the camera is from one of my mili-spec Pelican Cases. lol
  • I have a servo USB interface. The intitial camera is one that has been wrecked before and is non functional. That will be used for the first couple of test flights for dummy weight. The camera's are actually fairly inexpensive but have some really great features for this kind of work. I have a few years experience at this with both rotor and fixed wing air craft.
